"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD,"plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  —Jeremiah 29:11

Thank you for your interest in The Cumberland School!

Since the founding of our school in 1989, Cumberland's mission and goal has been to transform the hearts, souls, and minds of the students entrusted into our care. Through academics, enrichment, and service, our students are challenged to meet their greatest potential and find God’s purpose for their lives.

In order to accomplish this task, God has brought together some of the best teachers and educational leaders who have dedicated their lives to ensuring Cumberland students are prepared to meet with success, whether they enter into ministry, career, or attend a college or university.

As the admissions director, I am honored that I get to share with others the many programs that Cumberland has to offer. Those programs include core academic classes that will enable students to be prepared for any college or university, as well as mission trips and spiritual retreats that will grow our students into godly men and women. In turn, our athletic programs are designed to not only develop strong bodies, but to create a sense of community, sportsmanship, and cooperativeness in our students. Through all of these programs, Cumberland graduates are prepared to go confidently into their purpose and calling and impact the world for Christ.

As you pray about whether Cumberland is the right fit for your student, I  encourage you to browse our website and learn more about the academic, enrichment, and athletic programs that make Cumberland one of the premier schools in metro Atlanta. But don’t stop there. In order to truly get to experience the Cumberland difference, attend one of our Open House events. You may also schedule a shadow day or make an appointment to meet with someone in our admissions department.  Our admissions team is ready to answer your questions and help guide you through the admissions process.  Our direct phone number is 770-819-5040.  You may also email me personally at b.hines@cumberlandschool.org.

Blessings!

"I looked at other Christian schools in the area, but what made me choose Cumberland was this: The teachers at Cumberland teach because it is their passion and their calling."

"Cumberland has been a very positive experience for us. My daughter has been encouraged to grow, not just mentally, but spiritually as well. We would strongly recommend any parent to prayerfully consider sending their child to Cumberland."
